This is absolutely amazing. If it had the live looper in it, I would be completely sold, but that is the one thing I would need on there for me to hop on board. Was thinking about a Sample Trek, but it isn't quit something that I need, with all the other gear that I already own. This thing though. With live looping would be like a mini Isla s2400 that I could take anywhere.

the 24 khz sound w 12 bit mode sounds really good. I guess it depends the type of sound. great to have both options and have them sound very different from each other. will the classic colorway not be at all available for retail? unfortunately i only discovered this device now and I would really like the oldschool colors as Im replacing my beloved mpc 60 that i just sold. thanks.

So, with them saying that this is more a "groovebox" and the Smpltrek is a "workstation", does this mean that arranging and finishing a song is best left to the Smpltrek whereas the Lofi 12 XT is more for fleshing out ideas for sounds and performing live or recording the sound into a DAW? Thanks for anyone's thoughts on this....
