This is what I've been looking for! A channel that does real builds and takes you along for the ride with multiple episodes. I wish youd show the work. Thank you.

“You don’t have to be a good welder, you just have to be a good grinder” thank you sir, words of wisdom.

Sir, you are a TFB. "Total Freaking Badass". You're a craftsman of the highest order. You call yourself a redneck, but this is bespoke at its finest.

Loved watching this! My Grandpa used to build jalopies back in the 1920's. He would trade his rifles and things for the cars, when the college kids would go back to school after working the farm on summers. When he was 13 years old, he had 13 Fords! When he was in high school, he had a build that easily evaded the local sheriff, but... living in a small town, that sheriff knew who he was, haha. Lots of great stories, ... watching you build this Rat let me imaging what kinds of things my Grandpa did, back in the day. Appreciate you sharing! Patience and ingenuity... defines both of you.

what your doing in this video is great taking an old rusted out car and making a rat rod unlike some videos where people take mint condition cars and destroy them

My name is Steven and I'm looking forward to building my very first junk rod soon. I have cancer and want to make something with all the bits I have been gathering for the past 12 years. I want to do this for my kids before I can't do it at all. I have a Volkswagen beetle body and a 1939 Dodge D11 chasiss. Our engine is from a 1974 AMC Ramble straight 6. I have a 1.5 ton Dodge front end and a solid 70s rear end with plenty of old farm machine parts.
I will call it my BUDGE!
Thank you for making this seem far more easier than I imagined.
God bless you for your help.

Wow.. that was amazing, . You didn't "assemble" a car, you didn't modify a car... you literally BUILT a car. I really enjoyed this a lot. I hope to someday have the time and resources to but a Rat Rod.. and just seeing how you did things was such an eye opener. No laser alignment, no fancy tools, just your hands and the standards.. seriously awesome. Thanks for posting this.

That is some amazing work you've done. Extremely impressive, and inspiring as well. A whole lot more people may be putting together a rat rod because your instructions, so because you built one (and posting videos about it), there will be many more rods on this planet. That made the world just that much better, and for that I thank you. Lookin' forward to the next one as well.

A Chevy national 2 door sedan has always been my dream car, and goons like you ruin it and do the same routine over and over, original restoration is the new counter culture of the car world
