basically piper rockelle is a young youtube star who made youtube videos doing pranks and challenges with her friends that called themselves “the squad” and everybody thought it was happy and everything but really pipers mom forced them to make videos and work 16 hours a day at the ages of 9-14 just to make money for her. tiffany also sexually and physically assaulted them and also mentally abused them. a couple years later the squad members sued tiffany for financial exploitation, sexual harassment, sexual assault, and physical assault. some squad members and parents are in the documentary that just came out early today so that’s what sky is talking abt. hopefully this helps for anyone who doesn’t understand! it’s called “bad influence” and it’s on netflix btw. there are a lot more details to it but i’ll let you guys watch it for yourself!!
