How many days does a viral fever last in children?-Dr. Sreenath Manikanti

Viral fever can last anywhere between 3 to 5 days I children and the fevers can be of very high degree and they may look unwell when they have fever. However the characteristic of this fever is that this child is usually well. The child drinks fluids and passes urine regularly. However when it comes to bacteria fevers usually they tend to be unwell even in between the fevers. Even when these temperatures are down. That is how we can differentiate between viral and bacterial.

Hello Sir,
Greetings from Bangladesh.
My 9-month-old infant has been sick since March 8th.For the first four days, the temperature was around 100 degrees Fahrenheit, but as of this morning, it has been hovering around 102 degrees.
5 days have passed.Kindly advise us on the best way to handle her.
