It is more than likely Cleopatra was fully ethnically Greek because her family line was know to in breeding, brother and sister marriage.

Cleopatra was Greek. That means she was white. The confusion comes in because people have confused statues of Nefertiti with statues of Cleopatra. No, she did not have full lips. She had rather thin lips. She had large, wavy hair. The pigments recovered from her actual statues are about as dark as the average Italian.

defiantly not black but probably mixed ancestry, her coins suggest more Greek looking so olive perhaps.

Coins with Cleopatra's face shows her with a very typical hooked Greek nose. The Ptolemy's ruled Egypt for over 250 years and probably acquired less than pure Greek bloodlines along the way. Her own children were half Roman by both Julius and Mark Antony.

While that is true the Ptolemy's acquired many of the Egyptian social and religious practices to keep the Egyptian people in favor of them. But like any in breeding royal family they had to bring in fresh blood every one in a while. Something the Hapsburg's learned the hard way.
