My theory: The "sacred timeline" is sacred because it's the timeline where Kang The Conqueror takes over, becomes god-emperor. Kang is the Timekeepers. He created the TVA to make sure *his* timeline wins.

I have a similar problem with the whole 'only going to Earth' problem.
Despite these timekeepers being aliens all the people in the TVA not only appear Human, but are taking part in a very Human styled authoritarian bureaucracy.

Normally I'd suggest this could be a simulation - but we already had that in Wanda Vision so I can't see any point in doing that again - but putting that aside such an agency might be best located as a simulation in a computer as then the clock speed can be adjusted as needed.

I am the opposite.
I love that they are mostly just talking. I have become numb to all the action. For example, in Endgame, after everyone arrives through the portal, and the big battle started, I just tuned out.

The multiverse is one of the core aspects of marvel comics which these movies are based on. The X-men, Fantastic Four, Avengers etc etc have all had multiply stories that involve the multiverse. They are multiple heroes, villain cosmic entities object of powers that cannot work without the existence of the multiverse.

What I don't understand is: if there's only one timeline, how are there different Loki-s? Shouldn't they be offshoots off of the same Loki - doing something he wasn't "supposed to" at different points in his life? One explanation could be that there are parallel universes within the one timeline, but that just seems redundant and confusing.

I like the slower pacing of the series.
Actually all the action in the classical superhero-movies(Avengers...) is kind of boring to me - one of the reasons I like the older Star Trek shows: They're story based, as opposed to action/effects/"instant emotion" based. IMHO this is also one of the reasons why Star Wars makes better movies, but Star Trek is way more re-watchable and makes for a better serialized show.
