In hindsight, accepting the AlphaTauri position was probably the worst thing he could have done. If he’d stayed as the RedBull 3rd driver, he’d have a much better chance of taking Perez’ seat. In the AT/VCARB he isn’t demonstrating enough reason to replace Perez.

They need to give him a 1 plus 1 next year in the Redbull and move Lawson into the RB... Will save some money and it doesn't work out 2026 will be new regulations...

The stop watch never lies he may be fast in the red bull but what is needed is that he should be fast in the RB vcarb and he is not showing that so chances him getting that sit is sadly reducing as the season goes

u cant put daniel in a redbull car and test him if hes gonna be drivin for alphatauri. redbull and tauri or actually so different. its so not an accurate rep of what hes capable of doing.
