I am almost 64 years old-when I was 17 years old, I bought a big set of copper bottom stainless steel revere ware pots and pans. I bought them with money I saved from babysitting and put them in my “Hope Chest”. It is 5 pots and 2 skillets and their lids. Still have them and use them daily and are like new. When my auntie moved to Florida, she gave me her 8 qt pot that matches. I use it all the time for soup (and think of her, now in heaven). They are amazing and made to last. My mom had a big basket like that, it was her laundry basket. You got some really nice things. Have an amazing day! God bless.

Good morning! You could hang the copper pot by placing two nails just a bit smaller apart then the handle width, the handle would slide between and get “stuck”. Hope that makes sense 😄

I have Revere Ware, I'm sure my children and grands will continue to use mine, stainless steel lasts and lasts! We have a cabin in northern Michigan, and the holidays up there are wild with garage sales! I've lost 20# and need some new-ish spring-summer clothes, so I'll be hitting those pretty heavy! Thanks for sharing, Davee...and God bless!

Good Morning Davee! I would love to find a Revere pot, because they’re made really well. I was thinking if the copper pots handle was wooden you could drill a small hole through it and add a rope or something so you could hang it on your wall, if you wanted to. You’re so smart to buy the kids clothes at these sales and thrift stores, as they grow out of them so fast. It’s another beautiful day here in NC and I plan to plant some flowers in a container for my front porch. I love spring because I love flowers. I hope your day is going well. 🌸🪴🌼🪴🌺

What great deals! I try not to get anything that I wasn’t already looking for, but I wouldn’t be able to pass up that basket! That size for $2!

Loved the haul! I'm facinated because I've never heard someone refer to those as kettles. Maybe it is a regional difference (I'm from the South)?

I like the Gooseberry books. I put the Christmas ones in a basket as decor at Christmas time 🙂
