Equivalence Relations

In this video, we discuss the notion of an equivalence relation, which is a relation which is reflexive, symmetric, and transitive. A set equipped with an equivalence relation allows us to measure some kind of "sameness." We present some examples. We also introduce the notion of equivalence classes, with some examples provided.
