Appalachian Trail Day 4 - A Beautiful Campsite and Fire After a Grueling Day of Hiking

Day 4 was one of my toughest days hiking so far on the Appalachian Trail. I only did 9 miles but each mile was strenuous and slow going. The terrain was difficult coming out of Neels Gap. No big mountains but constant up and down smaller mountains with little to no break. A lot of other hikers seemed to be struggling with this section too. However it all worked out in the hand as I found a beautiful campsite which I had all to my self and made a nice fire in the fire pit.

When you stop to fill water it’s a good plan to drink a bunch . Then leave with a full belly and bottles. It’s a scary thing to run low

The wind and smoke reminded me of camping in the winter with my brother. After a few adult beverages he went to bed, but he left the fly/door open. Through the night the wind blew the snow into his tent. He must of had 4 inches of snow covering him. 😂
Great vid, thanks!

U know this shit fits cc better than anything we have seen before. The basement looked like a chil relax regroup hideout, but its not living. The mexican and columbia traveling is dangerous and kind of waste of time if alcohol and woman arent abundant. Pattaya is wrong scene nothing challenging. This right here is where cheap charlie thrives in this setting. I left my gf in san diego to go live in woods in my rv in ny for 2 months and never felt bettwr. Hated being indoors so much

Good to see you still cranking out the videos....

Is it getting any easier on the hiking?

I wouldn't worry about getting your pack lighter...you will lose the weight personally....that will be more than make up for what you could take off for in the pack.

👍👍👍. Keep it going 😁. ( Formerly.. Skaterdude). Be careful about going on side trails ..That's how people get lost. Do you have a compass ? Stay safe 🤗

lots of up and downs starting in GA...but once you get past Maryland you will be mostly rolling hills. Smokies (NC), Shenandoah(VA) and Allegany(MD and the southern part of PA) are the biggies. AT does not go through the Poconos (PA) nor the Catskills (NY). You need to do a R/R in Connecticut because the Vermont (Green mountains) (White mountains) get REALLY BIG and you get back to the earlier heavy climbs and heavy down treks. R/R: I did a week in Connecticut just casually walking about little towns near the AT and fully relaxing (stayed in little motels and had nice breakfast and dinners everyday).
