Looking great! When tightening the cables: turning a ratcheting combination/box wrench while holding the allen key still, would tighten it while preventing the cable from spinning. And now I'm done with my armchair quarterbacking for today.

6/3/23;..7 part pool surround & 5ft H block partition wall with sleek black Aluminum square posts & 12 SS cables running horizontally...Wow! Tim, this was a huge time consuming job with lots of grade change, tree root obstruction issues, cc slab prep & finish (beautiful) then transition to ~5ft lower patio slab via 6x6ft upper platform & 7 (ez walk) steps downward on Trek deck boards & treads utilizing same Alumn. Posts & 12 SSwire cables as safety railing. Very nice job!

When you put the Trex plugs in, it helps to alight the grain with the board it goes into. It will help blend and disappear better. Love the railing! Great job guys.

2:10, put the nut on first. Cut above the nut. When you remove the nut, it will follow the undamaged threads, and help make starting the nut on the threads easier, for when you put the nut back on for the final time.

Pro Tip on tightening those steel cables: Use an audio analyzer app on your iPhone to listen the 'frequency' as you tighten the cables and play them like a guitar! You'll be able to get each individual cable very close to the same tension!
