Reform UK's Richard Tice claims Tory MPs 'terrified' of his party and urges Sunak to call election

Rishi Sunak is facing more calls from his political opponents to call an election early this year. On his left flank, the Liberal Democrat leader Sir Ed Davey told a campaign rally in Guildford that the Prime Minister should stop "clinging on to power."

From the right, the Leader of Reform UK Richard Tice claimed that Conservative MPs are "terrified" of his party and urged Rishi Sunak to call an election "as soon as possible".

Thank you Channel 4 for actually showing that there are alternatives to the two main parties and it is essential that we all consider alternatives such as Reform, Liberal Dems, Greens, Social Dems, etc. We can't kep supporting Conservative and Labour and expect different outcomes it is time to vote them both out and bring in new ideas from both Left and Right.

I think Reform would be lucky to get one MP. This isn't due to a lack of support, more due to the nature of the electoral system.

The real reason why the reform party aren't on the tongues of the average voter, is because there is a concerted effort by OFCOM and the mainstream media to give them no "air" time. They did the same to UKIP.

No deal before election the more mps they get in, the more power they have to deal with Labour or con. After the election because of the way our voting works if they won every seat they still don't run the country but if they get enough seats changes to our voting system can be changed

My question is ...Why are Channel 4 now concerned about the Reform Party! No party that has had power over the past 70 years has given what's best for the people! Hopefully things change!

The Tories think they can rely on the old 'Anyone but Labour' tactic. It's too late. They had their chances and blew it. People have had enough. They took the traditional conservative vote for granted. Sadly, we are doomed to a disastrous 5 years under Labour from which the country may never recover.

The swipe at Hartlepool is low. They don't know who Tice is because they just don't care...as with most people in the country, I suspect. And they don't care because in their mind it doesn't matter who is pretending to run the show, because whoever is pretending to run the show just doesn't care about anything unless it is affecting their walk from front door to chauffeur driven car and back again.
