Russian authorities suspended traffic on the Kerch Bridge amid a smoke screen. Heavy fighting was reported in Klishchiivka in Donetsk Oblast near a railway line supplying Russian forces as Ukraine claimed control over the Bakhmut-Horlivka Road. NATO revealed attempts to engage Russia in diplomatic talks before the 2022 invasion of Ukraine but rejected Russian demands. Switzerland criticised Ukrainian President Zelensky's peace plan for lacking Russian support, and Russia accused the US of supplying dangerous weapons to Ukraine to sustain a "failed counteroffensive".

Swiss Foreign Minister Ignacio Cassis doesn’t think the conflict is a war. 😂😂 The man must be living in another planet.

Keep up the good work. Russia don't give up and don't give in. Don't let no one tell you what to do.

This simply shows how utterly unintelligent Russia is. Blaming everyone else for its own mess. Pull its troops out of Ukraine and there would not be any problem. Period.

This person does not get it yet. There is not need for Nato expansion.

If Russia (read Putin) feels it needs a "buffer" of lands between NATO countries and itself, then let them create that buffer within the borders of itself and Lukashenko's (for now) Belarus.

Russia decided to invade a non-aggressive neighbor. They did it, then did it again.

If this was the US, the American people would be supportive of every possible source of defense and counter-attack, including nuclear, biological and chemical weapons.

Russia is just lucky that Ukraine gave up its nuclear weapons and doesn't have a large number of labs suitable for weaponization. Lesson learned - don't negotiate your strength away with an aggressive neighbor that seeks to dominate and invade.

Ukraine may not be the perfect example of democracy and is still dealing with its own internal issues, but it deserves to not be annihilated by a country with a history of aggression, treaty cheating, oppression, and propaganda. NATO knows that Putin will take every inch and give nothing during any negotiation. Russian and Wagner staff have already made statements regarding their schemes on Poland and the Baltics.

Nothing teaches a bully to stop starting fights like a badly broken nose and I say we might as well do it right so he learns his lesson well.
