If you do not find the profile folder it is because the new version has another directory, you must copy the old ones and paste them in:
Dead Redemption 2\profile

Thanks man it works I fully finnished the game and my pc was resseted becasue of a issue and forgot to save the game in a cloud so I did this and it helped tysm

My game doesn’t have a settings or profile folder…it appears too that you are using Rockstar launcher mine is on Steam is it under different folder name perhaps?

Does this work for PS5? I traded up my ps4 for a ps5 and only saved a copy of the downloaded games and not the data so i lost all my story progress. So annoying!

I only have settings folder(no profile folder) with file names not srdr.bak files

I am sure those files do the work of saving the game, is there any 100% completed files to replace them with on nexus modes??
