Density Lab Exercise for Middle School Students

Показать описание
Hello Future Scientists! Today we will be learning about ocean and freshwater density and how it can impact our environment.
My name is Maggi Anstett and I am a student in the UConn College of Agriculture, Health and Natural Resources.
Density is the amount of space an object takes up compared to the amount of matter in that object. The mathematical equation for density is mass over volume. Today we are going to see if golf balls sink or float in fresh water and if they will sink or float in saltwater. Please form a hypothesis of what you think is going to happen. I listed some questions for you to form your hypothesis.
