The additional X-bracing provides extra tuning stability, while the sostenuto pedal is usually only found on grand pianos. It also has a celeste rail for quiet practise. The moving music rack covers sound escape vents for added projection making the YUA one of the most sought-after uprights Yamaha has ever produced.
