Hello guys tnx for the videos, I'm trying to import Raw PHOTOS to FCPX in order to make timelapse video, but it doesn't recognize them. Shot it on my Sony A7s3 camera. Can you help me?

Also, know why the built in imac Photoviewer do not open raw photos or the Quicktime player do not open 4k mp4?

Hey Steve. First of all thanks for the info. There is something I didn't quite get. The thing is I want to transcode my media to edit in a less weight coded (from RAW to h264) My workflow therefore will be FCP X to Da Vinci (This is where I would need to re-link the RAW footage) to FCP X. The question is: Do I have to work directly with the RAW clips in FCP X and then transcode the media? or can I do that from other program such as REDCINE X PRO? Is it the same? I really don't know if I'm turning this thing upside down and there's a clear, easy way to do it, but I don't know what workflow will allow me to do what I want. Hope you can answer this soon! 3:03 - Modify Red Raw Settings - I'm following step by step but received a popup message reading: To modify REDCODE RAW Settings, transcoded media must be deleted and transcoding tasks must be canceled. Click continue to delete media and stop tasks in progress. Click cancel if you do not wish to modify this file. There is a box I can check that says "Always delete transcoded media and cancel transcoding tasks. Thanks!

The previous video I watched told me to turn on transcoding as a way to increase performance, optimized and proxy. I plan on using FCPX to color my R3D files. Do you have a good, bad, ugly response to this? I just jumped from 1080 video on a DSLR to 6K with the new Red Komodo and I need to make sense of what's what. Hope all is well.
