Robert D. Kaplan, an American author on politics and foreign affairs speaks to CivilNet’s host interviewer, AUA Adjunct Lecturer, Ph.D Narek Mkrtchyan about the challenges the COVID-19 pandemic has posed to the world.
Robert D. Kaplan is a bestselling author, publishing nineteen books on foreign affairs and travel translated into many languages, including The Good American, The Return of Marco Polo's World, In Europe's Shadow, Asia's Cauldron, The Revenge of Geography, Monsoon, The Coming Anarchy, and Balkan Ghosts. For three decades he reported on foreign affairs for The Atlantic. He held the national security chair at the United States Naval Academy and was a member of the Pentagon's Defense Policy Board and the U.S. Navy’s Executive Panel. He is a Senior Adviser for Eurasia Group. In both 2011 and 2012, he was chosen by Foreign Policy magazine as one of the world's "Top 100 Global Thinkers."
