►Lesson Description: A quick tutorial for Blender 2.93 on creating a tree. Shows a simple technique for box modeling, though the primary use of this tutorial is to show you how to navigate Blender3D for the first time user.

Default Blender Shortcuts:

Mouse wheel -- Zoom in and out
Mouse wheel -- Hold to orbit
Hold Shift to pan view with middle wheel pressed

Ctrl+z to undo
delete to delete objects
1-9 on numpad to change camera view.
1-3 in edit mode to change selection (vertex, edge, face)
Grow selection with ctrl+ (the plus on the numpad) or shrink with ctrl- (the minus on numpad)
g for moving vertices in edit mode
gg to slide vertices
Hold shift to select multiple vertices
Extrude with 'e'
m to merge vertices
alt+e to get alternative functions (i.e., extrude along normal)
's' to scale
When extruding with 'e' you can ctrl+click to quickly model
Use the 'alt' key to get alternative ways to do things (e.g. alt+e)
'i' for inset

Hey Mike! I really enjoyed this introduction to Blender. If you ever have the time, i'd love to see you texture this asset! Maybe using Blender's texturing or substance painter? Looking at your channel, I love what I'm seeing!
