Nighttime Skincare Routine | LA MER, SISLEY, and BIOLOGIQUE RECHERCHE | Dry, Rosacea Skin

Hi everyone! Welcome to my first YouTube video.

After battling skin issues such as acne and rosacea for many years, my skincare routine is something in which I am happy to invest my time and money. Having clear, calm skin makes me feel more confident in myself, and it wasn't until my skin was in a good place that I truly started to enjoy makeup.

I have tried many brands over the years from Skinceuticals, Biologique Recherche, May Lindstrom, La Roche Posay, Avène, Caudalie, and more, and since using the products featured in this video, my skin is the healthiest it's ever been.

Of course, everyone's skin is unique, and we all have different needs. For instance, my skin is not sensitive to fragrance at all, and I enjoy a light fragrance in my skincare products. It's certainly a long journey to find skincare that works for us.

My wish is to share my experience with you so that you may learn something about these products if they interest you, whether that be their texture or how they look during application. I would love to know what products you use and enjoy as well.

I use many of the same La mer products, and I love the genaissance line at night. Other lines I have used and loved and will continue to repurchase: Sisley black rose line, and guerlain Abbeille royale line. Skincare is my favorite part of the day!

If you want smart hydration, I recommend Environ moisturising toner, and Colostrum VG serum by BR. It’s way better than La Mer.

Such a nice video for a Sunday afternoon, while doing my reset skincare routine. From La Mer Im curently using only the original cream at night - This is a must for me on my retinol nights to avoid irritation. Other brands I like to use: sisley, clarins, augustinus bader, chantecaille and Autur. I'm wiling to try Biologique Research and cellcosmet. I almost never use prescription for lack of interest: They are so boring to apply, no nice texture or good fragrance. I used to like french pharmacy cults, but today they are quite rare on my vanity.

Loved watching this! Your skin is absolutely beautiful and your routine looks so lovely and pampering. I'm also a bit of a skincare junkie, but since I also struggle with rosacea (I sadly do have quite a bit of broken capillaries that are very visible😔) and in my case also super sensitive reactive skin I kind of have to be more of a minimalist. I must say I really enjoyed the Biosensible range from BR and Dr. Sturm's products (mainly her Calming Serum and Face Cream Light). Currently, I've been loving the same Venn mist as you (I'm on my second bottle!), the Macrene Actives Face Serum (her cleanser and cream are also amazing), the Tata Harper Bio-Barrier Serum from her Superkind line, and the Agent Nateur Holi Crème, and I'm waiting for the new Manasi7 serum to arrive which I'm hoping will be good. I've always wanted to try out La Mer but I bought the soft cream once and unfortunately got a bit of a rash so my mom ended up getting that cream, but I know this line has worked so well for so many people. I'm always looking for the perfect lip balm/treatment, I currently got the Augustinus Bader one but I must say I was a bit disappointed, it is not moisturizing enough for me and I have to reapply it constantly, the BioKiss looks so good, that is definitely now on my wishlist. With La Mer, if you know, you know. I’ve been using them off and on for 15 years. I really try to find alternatives that are more affordable and always end up coming back to La Mer. 💚
