The sharks were continuing to attack because of how animals target buildings. Once they damage a building they continue attacking it, even though buildings don't draw aggro. The Henodus still takes damage even if the sharks are targeting you or the buildings.

On the building shipwreck thing you mentioned there are a few creatures in tsw future roster that kinda do that, first the sunken leed is on the ASE version of the game but it's "main" deal is it's pirate saddle which isn't released yet in any version it pretty much turns the leed into a pirate ship then
The other creature is the hullrender crab which is a giant hermit crab which has many options of shells/saddles one which is a shipwreck one
The creature roster is incredibly interesting and i would recommend to check it out! Love ya videos

Loving these showcases because they’re giving the team excellent points of feedback for slight tweaks and updates. I feel like we should at least have henodus be locked behind the level you unlock a raft in order to tame one haha

Another great view, cheers! I think these modders build creatures around very specific functionalities they want instead of making a creature cause it looks cool and trying to fit abilities for them. There is something incredible you can do with this that I tried out. You can completely encase it in structure (say rope modded structures and glass cockpit) without hindering any abilities including the rider and Nothing agros on it, even on land. Even if they did they can't hit it. If you added quarter walls at the bottom and ceilings, nothing would agro. It's a proper sub.

I think you’re supposed to harvest the seaweed with it if it’s thatch gatherer. Seaweed gives thatch, and a whole lot of it. On official I got like 1500 with two swings of a sickle, and I wasn’t even trying to gather. I was trying to fight off a piranha pack and missed. Then I tried when I realized I had thatch I didn’t remember gathering.

If you're on the new center map, I found one on the Volcano island It's the only one i've seen so far so I don't know if it can spawn Anywhere else.
