Tatyana you really did save Stas's life when you reached out to Sergei; if he hadn't been taken to the rehabilitation centre that day, he'd have become so seriously ill while on his own, with no one realising he needed help, rather than somewhere with people who could get him to hospital so quickly to get the help he so desperately needed. I think he'd have just stayed on his bed & passed away, getting covered in more & more flies, & the only way anyone would have realised something was wrong woupd have been when the smell got too bad.
