I just played Cape May Rahdo style a couple of weeks ago. I really like it! Great table presence with the plastic houses.

I had to back Cape May…I live here!. Lol. I’m pretty happy it’s actually a really good game with great table presence! I actually live right off of one of the streets on the board map! Pretty cool.

Rahdo you are killing me. I've been eyeing Pax at Fun Again for a few months (they are the only ones who still had it). I was waiting until after the holidays to place an order. I was not too concerned about it selling out since it is such an unknown game.
Now you go and tell the world about it and it is sold out.

Star realms co-op is neat certainly, but it won't be right for you and Jen because there's no new wrinkles in the already-light decision space. At best it isolates faction cards so you have fewer factions to choose. It's still a light and breezy deck builder, just done against AI opponents. Glad it exists though!

For the King (and Me) was out for quite a while in French. My theory is that the rethemed was important for the French because the heavy Catholic theme of Biblios was not a selling point. The imagery of Biblios was too powerful to me (I'm very theme focused) and I wasn't even brought up in the harsh Catholic years like my parents were O_O So super glad this theme was changed cause it deserves a more approachable theme!!

Is Star Realms Frontier the same as the Star Realms Box Set?

Yeah I’d love to see Rahdo do a Cape May run through. This is a great game to introduce to people who think Monopoly is the only roll and move real estate game on the planet.

And I know Rahdo would get scared seeing the roll and move part, but it’s really not rolling and moving in a traditional way. It’s cards that dictate your movement. And you play them Concordia style where you have to take an action to pick them back up..so your choices dwindle as the game goes on until you’re forced to pick up your cards.

And the board is just really a multi level rondel where you can get off one rondel on a city block to move to another rondel on another block


Great gateway plus game IMO..and on top of it all solid 2p scaling to pull off the area control aspect when playing with 2.

Shame this came out at the end of the year as I could see this one getting buried under all the end of year top 10 list hype and stuff.

Again, this is What Monopoly should have been. Can’t convey all its awesomeness here.

I'm sure this is probably the most straightforward "top ten" for you guys to put together, but I have to say it's getting old. Looking through the "on sale" tat at a US web store is fun once or twice a year but it seems to be every other week now. No one outside the US can take advantage of the offers, and the selection of games is usually old and uninspired. It feels like rooting through the bargain bin and then putting a top ten together.

Love the show. Love both of you, but I skip the episode when this is the topic. Perhaps it's just me?

Rahdo, you have grown so much as a broadcaster since the early days. I am sure you are doing what is best for you and your family, and I know this won't change your mind, but this continuing series of thing you would buy kind of seems like you are doing an hour long commercial, a QVC segment. You used to have sponsors for what you did on your own, and it didn't feel like you were a spokesperson. Being a spokesperson is fine, we all have to make other people money in this world, but I am saddened by this direction. That's all I'm saying about it.
