Wasn’t Jarome drafted by Dallas, not Calgary?

Also, I love how Stian Solborg has risen in the draft because of how vicious he is. He's a hard hitter who knows how to hit clean, and likes to get under people's skin. He relishes in hatred. I really wish he wasn't in this Draft and was in the next draft since he'll be playing in a much tougher league next season, so its easier to find his weaknesses and better evaluate his strengths. The reason I'd be afraid to take him at 10-20 is that he spent the season with Vålerenga in the Norwegian league (EliteHockey Ligaen), which (no disrespect) is much lower competition than where most of these prospects played in. Fellow Norwegian, Michael Brandsegg-Nygård, spent his season in the Allsvenskan (Sweden's 2nd tier) with Mora IK, a tougher league than in Norway.

Tij Iginla went from a team that, at the time, didn't really need him (Seattle) to a team where he had to assume a more impactful role (Kelowna) and thrived. To me, it seems like he's a player that gets better when he plays in the moment, and that's contributed to his draft stock going up.

The Sharks possibly ending up with the #1 and #2 prospects from preseason is awesome 🤩 The best all around player in the draft and the best goal scorer…not bad!

I thought Bob was retired. It's pretty cool to see him again

It’s funny how Levshunov went from being a big defenseman to just an average sized defenseman

"Beckett Sennecke had 44 points in his last 24 regular season and playoff games." No he didn't. He had 35 points in his last 24 games.

Flames drafting Iginla just seems right

I hope so bad the Hawks take Demidov at 2. You can get solid defense at another time, you can’t get potentially generational playmaking talent to go with Bedard any time but now

I would expect Calgary drafting Iginla but that's just the fan in me

It's ironic that they mention Crosby and Toews when they're talking about Celebrini, because I have Celebrini's max-ceiling somewhere between Crosby and Toews. 😄

Am i wrong for having big doubts about silayev? I just have a feeling that with other players like dickinson or zeev he is not gonna be at their level

If Tij Iginla can snipe like his dad did, that'll be the steal of the draft

Catton > Sennecke

The kid is simply more gifted and can process the game faster. Top 3 offensive talent in the draft.
