Perhaps their "Why do you like women" is to (they think) not look pathetic in asking "Why can't you like me?" or "Why in seeing you two so happy by being together do I feel so miserable?". Sexual orientation is one of those topics where the answers "Because yes!" and "Because no!" are maybe the most reasonable ones.

The one i hate is "do you really think girls are your friends?" Yes they are, i have been in a women centric job my whole life. There are many great relationships i have had and still have from it.

We live in a world where an ever larger amount of queer people come out of the closet, while religion is losing more and more gound.
In religious countries like the US there still are way too many people asking questions like this one, here in Europe they already are a dying species.
