Sim you should buy paver stones for a work or gravel free work surface or even sidewalk...I suggest 2ft by 3ft so you can lift them yourself or 2ft by 2ft ans then build a lean to (mini car port) from.wall to house.. it wouldn't cost much

that gravel will stay dusty unless you regularly wash it at least every morning and before night time.. it helps to wash down all the dust down under the gravel at the same time it helps to cool downat night...and yes during hot weather gravel contribute more heat around your house.. it feels like a volcano rocks that heating around you lol
