Welcome to my channel, SanduniTr.
This is the fourth lesson of unit seven in the Grade 8 English Language subject. In this lesson, we discuss how to write informal letters by identifying the format of a personal letter and practising writing two letters.

This lesson is based on the local syllabus in Sri Lanka. Students of grade 8 can do self-studies in English Language using this video lesson.

Dear Ameen,
How are you doing. Thank you for your letter and lovely photographs.
On 18th in July we went to Sigiriya. It was only five or six hours. My mother father and sister came with. We travelled by our car.
Sigiriya Rock fortress, a world heritage site built by King Kashyapa. They are old ruins on the top of the rock.
I saw the famous line paw's the mirror wall and the water fountains.
We climbed up the rock and took photographs. We enjoyed the sighteseem a lot.
I hope you are in good health. I am looking forward to hearing from you. please write to me soon.

It is pink colour and beautiful. My relatives and friends came to my birthday party. My uncle presented to me a laptop. I thanked to him. My mother presented a beautiful frock to me. At the end of the party I and my friends danced and enjoyed. I received many gifts.
