That’s exactly what I need, eggs and cheese. You can freeze eggs out of their shell. Just take 3-4 at a time in baggies. You beat 3-4 eggs well, then you freeze in portions.

You can waterglass eggs and store in gallon glass jars. Hardboil and refrigerate. You can freeze eggs after cracking, beat well and store in well sealed airtight freezer safe container.. great way for several dozen at a time. Read all the ways to preserve fresh eggs. There also is a float test for eggs. The same with veggies clean, Blanche and freeze in freezer bags. It is worth buying a large freezer and prepping dumpster food for storage for long term. That is what Freakin Frugal channel does.

@Hollie, you can share the bounty with otherss, just be honest and transparent where it came from. Don't hoard all of it in your freezer for too long. Please be diligent about food safety.
It's a crime these stores are so wasteful. Very few of them can still donate food to a food bank of food pantry due to the government changing requirements so the stores can be reimbursed financially.

Whenever you come across a lot of edible items like eggs, bread milk etc remember that you can donate to some food banks, churches etc that feed those in need. To be sure, ask these local places before you go if they would mind good, clean items from the dumpster then you’ll know who will accept these.

You just have to pick up that food and take it. I mean, there are so many people starving in the world. Just take the food and distribute it to food.Pantries, keep some of it.Don't leave it there

If you’re keeping the bacon, cook it all in the oven and refreeze. Save the bacon grease too.
