Pace ExoTex First Ride – Can It Match the Pace Pro?

Core just dropped a brand-new kite: the Pace ExoTex. I’ve been riding the Pace Pro (Aluula) almost exclusively for the past year, so I was super curious to see how this new ExoTex version performs.

In this video, I take the 8m and 10m Pace ExoTex out for their first session and share my honest impressions.

I’ve found the biggest difference from the PACE PRO to the PACE ExoTex is in the speed and recovery time. The Pro model is much faster than the ExoTex model, true. In the larger sizes like 10m and up the Aluula makes a big difference for big air tricks. But in sizes like 9m and 8m the ExoTex is actually more forgiving and a tad bit slower, which is fine in a smaller size kite which is already plenty fast. I’m a big fan of the PACE ExoTex so far and will be using it as my go-to kite moving forward.
