This will be an unpopular opinion but I don’t mind the $40 battle pack, as I can see parents seeing it have some kind of value. I go to my local Lego store all the time and see parents all the time refusing to buy their kids battle packs simply because they’re just figures and tiny builds, they want them to have some kind of big build for their money, they don’t even care about the price they just want their kid to have decent builds. Unpopular with your average collector sure but it makes parents think they’re getting some kind of good deal

I like the addition of a patrol gunship for the Night Troopers pack. It'll be great since I didn't get the original one from 2014, and it'll work well for a MOC I'm making of Coruscant.
I'm hoping we'll get more battle packs featuring small versions of vehicles from on-screen. Be cool if we got one for stormtroopers with a miniaturized AT-ST or AT-AT, a battle droid pack with maybe a mini AAT, and maybe another First Order Stormtrooper battle pack with a small AAL Transporter build.

In New Zealand, we've actually been gettimg some sets for way cheaper than you guys. I've been quite surprised on the cost of some of the sets we've been getting in NZD. Not all sets, just random ones, like the jedi bob starfighter is 55NZD. I think it was like 40USD, so hopefully we get more sets that haven't been properly priced

I honestly, while i find 40$ alot, love the new battle pack. I am a very recent sw lego collector and a battle pack with, at-rt, dwarf spider droids, 4 clones and 3 b2 droids is awesome. And don't really mind the 40$ price tag. Probably will wait for it to drop to like 32~.

*My thoughts on this video:*
75412 (Death & Night Trooper Battle Pack):
- Great Battle Pack, I personally really like it that they didn't include a named character. It gives me the intention to buy more.
- The price is gonna be great for me, it's likely going to be below 16 USD at some point for me.
- The side build is nice and I'm already happy it's not a Speeder. I just don't want Speeders anymore as builds.

75429 (AT-AT Driver Helmet):
- I don't get why this would be bad news. The helmet collection has been great. This helmet makes sense.
- It's a great choice as it's an iconic original trilogy helmet. We're also gonna get Jango Fett & Kylo Ren later.
- If you collect the helmets, this is definitely a great set. I personally don't own them but it's a nice display piece for sure.

75431 (327th Star Cops Battle Pack):
- This set is amazing. I personally really love that they put Spider Droids in this Battle Pack as the last time was the AT-TE.
- I don't mind if we got 3 Super Battle Droids instead of 4, I personally already own 30 from the Clone vs Droids Battle Pack.
- The pricing makes sense as it would include some inflation & a higher piece count due to the Spider Droids.
- The only downside is that if Commander Bly wouldn't be in this set. He is iconic for TCW & Episode III.
- I don't mind the price as I will be able to get this one probably for around 25 USD.

75342 (V-19 Torrent):
- This set is a fan-favorite and was hyped up to be remade. I expect this set to be great.
- Probably will have the same features but with an improved build (especially the landing gear & engines).
- Obi-Wan Kenobi & Asajj Ventress makes sense as it's a reference to the Battle of Sullust, an iconic battle in TCW.
- The Battle of Sullust is the one where Asajj is almost killed by Dooku, who also demotes her from being his apprentice.

40 dollars is steep but not unprecedented. The clone/droid battle pack from last year was 30 dollars for 43 less pieces. it’s by no means justifiable but still, not really a surprise.
