I got s 2020 Ford Escape a month ago. This is my color and exact car. I get many complements on how nice it looks. Getting 26 mpg just driving locally. Totally quiet and no sound or shaking not sure what he is talking about. Five driving modes. Regular. Eco, sport, slippery, snow/sand. Voice control on NAV system. Say address or place it goes there. Mp3 I have plugged in I just say song or artist and it plays it. Auto start car with app on phone was free. Love this vehicle. Smooth....

You failed to mention that the standard engine is turbocharged and has the highest standard horsepower in this class.

Man these comments are cruel ! I just bought a white Ford Escape sel with beige interior and I think it’s absolutely adorable, it reminds me of a Porsche. I never thought I would own a ford as I am a girly girl .... but honestly it is adorable. I got a demo car so it was only $22k . Which is a STEAL .

According to Ford, this car's main target are women. I think that's what CRV is targeting too as shown by its design. The RAV4 is more of a guy's car due to its muscular looks but more women are also liking it. Imo, the best way to design a car is to make it muscular than feminine. It's harder for men to buy a car with feminine look than the other way around.

Just bought a 2020 Escape S AWD today. As much as I wish I could of gotten the SE for the screen touch and heated seats, I’m content with the base model awd. Due to covid and limiting my choices, the dealership manage to work with my horrible credit - the suv is roomy all around, handles well on the road and has enough power to get on by. Pretty impressed with it. We’ll see how it handles the coming snow in our forecast.

Looks outdated in videos. Saw it in person and it actually looks better than the 2019 Ford Escape👍

It is not a good looking vehicle. It looks like a hatchback, not a a CUV. A RAV-4 destroys it in looks. Lincoln did a much better job with design on same platform. This will be a also ran, pushing those sales numbers up as rentals and to credit damaged.

0:45 the focus is only gone in North America, it still lives on in overseas markets, and the escape is still based on the redesign the focus got in Europe in 2018.

I have experienced both people who complain about previous escapes lacking power enough to satisfy day to day life, as well as expeditions with the ecoboost wanting to swap ends on slightly icy roads when leaving a stop light because the traction control just didn't want to actually do it's job. It'll be interesting to see where this vehicle falls if I have to suffer with it myself.

No big deal about the sliding rear seats, the chevy Malibu Maxx had it 16 years ago (2004)! Many other vehicles have had several generations of vehicles with it.
