Hey Brooke, I’ve been following you since your World of Wanderlust days for what must’ve been at least 10 years and it’s been amazing to watch your journey and see how far you’ve come! I remember you travelling the world, moving to Berlin and South Africa, heartbroken and getting lost in Los Angeles, road tripping through NZ, opening Charlie’s and now your massive success with the bakery and publishing a book - not to mention you got married with a baby on the way! I’m in my late 20s now and feel like in a way I’ve grown up alongside you. Even though we’re complete strangers I can’t help but feel super proud of you for how far you’ve come and how much you’ve accomplished - the internet works in strange ways like that! Thank you for sharing your journey of finding yourself with us over all these years, I’m sending you lots of love from Germany over to Australia and from the bottom of my heart wishing you all the best for all the exciting things yet to come! x

I never get tired of seeing all the cakes together in the fridge or on the counter. They just all look so pretty together (and separate of course) but it makes me want to buy all of them at once haha

That Tiffany Blue color is so cute! I knew that Iiked the pink and that you have a baby pink and what I'd call a deeper pink. But that Tiffany Blue is pretty as well. The fact that you have the mixer going all day to make fresh buttercream frosting shows just how busy you are. The cherry's on top are such a good compliment to the cakes as well.

I'm in the U.S. and just preordered your cookbook! Can't wait to get it in a few months. I've been watching your progress in the bakery since the beginning and I'm so happy for you! Hopefully, I'll be able to take a trip soon and try all of your delicious desserts. I also finally have gotten the courage to rent space at a commercial bakery to start my own "at home" business! I signed the paperwork to be able to start at the end of the month. My goal is to eventually be able to open my own space. I'm excited and nervous all at the same time. Fingers crossed, I get orders.

P.s. thanks for putting your business class out there, as I have many helpful tips from it. Also, congrats on your bundle of joy. 🎉🎉❤

You have inspired me to start baking. Bought the heart shaped pans and turn table, ordered some tips too.

My first cake last weekend was not good. My buttercream was too thick and didnt taste like the icings from professional bakeries, i prefer that light and melt in your mouth texture. Mine was like butter consistency. 🧈

Im retrying one again this weekend.
