Most of these aren't really dangerous, only frightening. It's not as if accidents happen there all the time.

I think that you have to check Odontotos Railway in Kalavrita, Greece. Is, if I am correct, the only railway that use a third teeth track (for this the name odontotos) because the maximum slope of the track is 17, 5%. It's constructed over Vouraikos Canyon.

The railways that have very high bridges are not dangerous they are just scary.

I am listing the worst ten railway videos on youtube, and this has hit the top spot. Total clickbait. The heading should have read 'Ten spectacular railways', not even 'top ten' and certainly not 'ten top'. The concept is meaningless; the ranking is useless. Did the compiler travel on any of them? Not one of those railways is dangerous.
Real danger:
* Johannesburg southside suburban, where I was mugged.
* The continuing line beyond Tren des Nubes into Peru. The tourist part is the safe part. Beyond, travel is restricted to natives living along the line. I tried in English and in Spanish to ride it, and was debarred 'too dangerous; risk of derailment and landslide'.
* New York Subway. When I rode a local tapped me on the shoulder: 'Yure mardy brave wearing a camera heare. Is thet guy beside you yure bodyguard'.
* Assorted Paris and London metro routes: the train is safe, the stations are dangerous.
* Lots of lines in India, with a risk of attack by dacoits or sedation by fellow passengers so that they can steal your valuables. Some require a special permit for foreigners to visit. There are occasional bombing attacks (also in Pakistan).
I can't think of any line in the world where my train has been derailed or had a head on collision or been engulfed by avalanche/mudslide on every one of my trips.
I have been on lots of rickety railways: quaint, slow, but not dangerous.
