Do you have to download the jailbreak software on a windows computer or can this be done on a Mac?

AND
says I should use the TaiG firmware upgrade tool and recover to IoS 8.2 Beta 1, 2 before jailbreak.

Why aren't you mentioning that step here?

If I backup and do a fresh restore of iOS 8.4. And then jailbreak the fresh restored device, will I be able to recover from my backup o created earlier ? *i need a fresh restore, because I heard I'll get a better success rate with no errors*
