I would suggest wearing gloves when touching and placing the trap as rats sense human scent and are careful to go near. Try gloves 👍

@ShawnWoods thank you so much for the video! I’ve caught 11 mice in 10 hours. This is by far the absolute best trap I’ve ever used.

When Shawn said it's really too powerful for a mouse, my guess is that it made a bloody mess. Probably nearly decapitated it. Or really seriously mangled the mouse. And I noticed when the mouse was caught how much force there was in that trap because the whole trap jumped.

I also noticed that when the rat was caught it was a quick cutaway and we did not see that part. I'm guessing maybe there was some thrashing or something that would have made it kind of gruesome.
