That's wild when you can get a full blown live in sailboat with motor for 5k

Plywood and a visit to fiberglass coatings, materials would be close to 2500, so this is a pretty good deal and you won’t itch like crazy every night while building it 😂😎

I think just get a little sailing catamran and put a deck and a motor on it, you could put at least two seats on something like that.

What's the delivery cost to Philippines 🇵🇭 without motor?

Nah cus I saw a 15k skif and it blew my mind. This should be like $1500 at most but still not bad for todays market

This is just hull alone for $3600. Seems pricey.

That looks great. Can you add maybe 2 seats on it? Will be fun to use on inland lakes

This boat and the one i worked on have the same issue...
They only have 1 engine, and this is a bad idea for Catamaran.
Because the prop tend to ventilate more easily also the motor will literally work against itself since the lower half of the engine will generate more drag than if it were put against the hull.
For example the boat i had felt like out of the 140 horsepower only 100 were actually working to move the boat. Also no matter what i tried, the hull would literally send bubble in the prop which made the prop ventilate, of course it heavily depends on the load and water condition but unless i had a glass like sea, every 20 min or so of navigation will make the prop ventilate...
(Tried different thing whit the trim and the load inboard over the course of the +940 hour i work whit this boat)

Ps: sorry for my rough english and hard to read brick

That’s a weird watercraft for 3k. You can get a 2024 welded Jon boat for 1.5k at bass pro thats bigger and more stable.
