The use of incense has its origins in antiquity, as a symbolic or sacrificial offering to various deities or spirits, or to serve as an aid in prayer. The spiritual purposes of burning incense can vary based on the religious ceremony or intention during its use.

In today's class, I discuss general types of incense and their uses for help in manifesting your prayers and rituals.

I love frankincense. I harvest them from my garden, the aroma from the tree is amazing. Sometimes before I bleed the tree I would hug it, talk to it and place a dollar coin in the root before harvesting. I am comfortable at the fact that I connected with the tree and can set my Intention before burning its incense. Thank you so much beautiful Queen!

I absolutely loved what you said about the incense burning being more for us than the spirits, in order to 'get us into alignment' with the spiritual structure. It just makes sense that we [may] need something to help us to connect to another realm and energy to do the work.

In south east London here in the UK you'll find Frankincense burning wherever rastafarians are congregated, they get it from the Ethiopians and Somalians in the area and so do I, the first time I smelt Frankincense I fell in love with it and always have an abundance of it. The Somalis ship it from back home but when you buy it from the health food shop it can come from Ethiopia, Somalia or Sudan. I'm not particularly keen on Myrhh myself. I think you can have a spiritual connection to a scent, or even pick up an essence undetectable to your 5 senses.

When I first smelled Palo Santos t felt like an old trusted friend but more than that, I knew I had encountered the smell in Nigeria for real. Same fir me with sage I will use in emergencies to zap out negative vibes. I don’t like myrrh at all soz but it’s a no for me though I have it at home. Thank you again for an informative blog🤩🙏🏿🤩😘

i am addicted to incense, i have tons of different kinds of sticks for different uses, and it's not only for cleansing, offering, or whatever but also i like to use it to make the house smell nice and for that purpose, i use the oud or "bakhoor" that comes in fancy jars from the middle east especially to cover the sage smells because for me it smells almost like sheep, hehe.

Hi Dr.Tochi, hope you're feeling well this evening, i just saw your video on burning incense and that's something i love to do i just like the smell of them, but my room no matter how i mop, clean, scrub i cannot get this foul odors out of my room and it's all different kinds of odors that would just randomly pop up out of know where and it's driving me crazy i'm thinking their bad spirits but not sure any suggestions on what i should do.

Hello Dr Tochi. I just received my package in the mail from you. Thank you so much. I ordered the cube cleaning black soap and chalk sticks. It looks like I can use the soap more than one time I don’t plan on sharing the cube I’ll be using on my body. Is this correct. Also I want to make sure I use the chalk right to. I know it will be different than me putting my hands in dirt which I have done. I just want to make sure I’m using each tool correct. Can you please share the correct way. Thank you so much

I have a question... Why is it when I light my incense the smoke immediately comes to me & goes all over me from Head to Toe?🤷😳
