I was deployed to the Middle East Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Iraq and they are obsessed with roses over there. They had rose salad, rose flavored popsicles, ice cream etc. I know Huda is from Dubai I wonder if that where the inspiration came from... Great review!!

You can actually totally eat rose petals(and quite a few other flowers) or use them to make rosewater and syrups to use in cooking!  Rose is one of my favorite flavors, personally.

Honestly the hand thing could be a beginning skin infection from a dirty cell phone/case. I clean mine one a week with my eye glass cleaner to try to get rid of bacteria. Cell phones are usually so gross but people don't think to "wash" them. So if you're holding your phone in the cradle of your hand like that, it could have been the cause. Glad it cleared up!!
