The king's gambit is one of my favourite openings too... As black! Very simple: grab the pawn, play g5 and d6, don't try to seize the initiative, consolidate and THEN either exploit white's kingside weaknesses or swap swap swap and win the ending. Simple.

It may works on lower rated player but when you are 2400+ on lichess people know not to take on h2, but play an immediate d5!. If Bxd5 then black develop Nf6 and if white try to be cheeky by playing Bxf7, Kxf7 and Nxh4, Black has a strong move Qd4+!. Then Kh1, Qxe4+, Nf3, Bg4 and white kingside is totally blown while black will quickly put its king to safety by Rf8, Kg8.

very nice, but ...d5 or ...d6 instead of 7...Le7 seem to spoil the action

Can someone pls explain whats wrong after qh5+ g6 n×g6 and then nf6? Also if r×f6 b×f6 q×g6+ ke7 i mean at max king is exposed but all whites attacking piece are lost and if both develop its lost for whitw unless i am not seeing this properly

The only way we can get it in real life by showing our opponent how he have to lose
