If I remember the incline is across from The Point, where the Monongahela and Allegheny rivers meet to form the Ohio River. Great fun riding the Washington Incline.

There is another one located in Johnstown, Pa that is large enough to fit a car. Built after the great flood of 1889 that wiped out over 2000 people.

I love riding furniculars. There's one in Bergen, Norway that has a station mid-way, though the Mon Incline is the best... due to some local bias of course.
