So if I only plug the headphone jack into the headset logo it’ll only allow me to hear everything, while plugging into the controller via your own controller will bring my voice into it? Loll trying to figure out how to work everything atm

Just an FYI, you dont necessarily need a capture card for Xbox. I have an xbox one X and run windows 10 and dont use a capture card. Run the xbox app on the pc and use the stream feature and put that through obs. I understand not everyone can get the app to work for whatever reason, but its so much cheapee than a capture card.

You seem quite knowledgeable on capture cards. So I’m hoping I can pick your brain. I have an elgato HD60 S and when I play switch. After a few moments stream. I get audio crackle. I’ve tried a few fixes around YouTube but none of them have worked yet. Any tips?

This was missing a GOXLR & Stream Deck connecting to Consoles. Only way I found to use Xbox was with the Xbox app but there’s no game chat, just party chat. Also Hooking up to stream with PS4 is way more complicated then that.

If i want to stream for family and friends on discord how can i get them to hear games audio while allowing me to hear audio too from my headset thats connected to my pc? How should i go about it with connecting the headphones? I want to be able to hear games audio but also be able to talk to friends and family on discord. My mic and headphones are separate devices from each other.

Not to change the subject here on the capture device. Which looks really good. But playstation and i believe xbox has second screen option that you can download and use as a capture device on your pc/mac. Therefore not needing a usb device. Still love the idea of using the decide if using an external camera instead of webcam.
