I an not a Nikon guy. I ham a very happy (mostly) Canon A-1 shooter. If I was to get into the Nikon side of things, my first choice would probably be the FE2. Very very nice set of features from what I can read...

YES @ $20. I haven't shot film in 20 years, but still have 2 FM2n's and 2 FE2's. They are always a good purchase at a good price. My latest acquisition is a MINT (I don't often claim mint) Nikkormat FTN with a 50mm f2 non AI, that I got at a Church rummage sale for $2.
Yes, two dollars. I'm not even a big fan of the Nikkormat's, but this was a no brainer.

Some deals are only criminal when they are ignored.

Yes, a video cleaning this camera is a must. All that dust looks terrible. Hope it didn't work its way into the mechanism. I have a Nikon FE2 I bought in 1980 while in Japan. Beautiful camera. More fun to shoot than with my F2.

I picked one of these up alongside a Nikon F80 for £30. The F80 sold for 38 so I'm classing the FE2 as free! Mine had some nasty dirt to shift on it but works beautifully

What a find, I’ve had 4 Nikon FE’s and they are great cameras, infinitely better than the F3 also that 1 sec deffo sounded a bit fast I’ve had a couple that are like this but they’re usually still pretty usable I just set the exp comp to +half stop

I have an Fe2 . I love that camera. $20 is worth it since it goes for crazy money on ebay. Mine was a gift.
