Watching those 100+ year-old men stand strong for likely their last public performance to receive their metals from France was one of the most touching things I have ever seen. Never forget!!!

Tears came to my eyes, because there are so few left, and because there won't be any left in ten years. Thank you, Greatest Generation.

I really don’t think a lot of us would be around today if we lost WW2. All of these soldiers are absolute true heroes and deserve the highest respect possible. We must never forget the imense sacrifices they all made for freedom.

"They fight not for the lust of conquest. They fight to end conquest. They fight to liberate." — President Franklin D. Roosevelt, radio broadcast, June 6, 1944

My utmost reverence and gratitude for all the sacrifice made by all those brave souls who fought valiantly and honorably, and gave up their lives for something greater than themselves.

The most emotionally powerful ceremony I've ever seen. Thank you to all who helped save democracy from dictatorship 80 years ago. We MUST honor their sacrifices by saving democracy from dictatorship today and in the years ahead!
