How big does the hail need to get for it to actually ding the panel? We had some pea/dime sized hail just a few days ago and miraculously there isn't any damage that I can see.

I just got done spending 2 days on 50 dents. Of course they were oversized (3.5 inches +) on aluminum and double braced. Worst two days ever.

So many customers worry about their headliners. I’ve always just reassured them then it’s a simple process and it all goes back together perfectly, and I let them know that I’ve done thousands of headliners. Just educate them. Ease their fears. Don’t support irrational fears by capitulating. They don’t know the process so they shouldn’t worry or tell you how to do your job.
