In KotM when Godzilla is near death and at his lowest point he goes and rest at what they call his home, the ruins of an ancient civilization with a large temple he uses as his bed.
In the New Empire Godzilla enters the new age of coexistence and him picking the colleseum as his new home is a great symbol of this.
Not to mention that last shot of Godzilla's eye closing as he looks so at peace after 10 thousand+ years is kind of heartwarming.

I liked Godzilla x Kong, my only gripe was that the titans Godzilla fought in the first half of the movie had literally no chance.
Skar King and Shimo had so little screen time to build them up as a threat and when the fight happens, Godzilla is evolved and Kong had the gauntlet while Mothra supporting them. Skar and Shimo had no chance winning it and the fight itself was very quick.

Kong atleast had some struggle when he fought the apes but other than that, the duo just squashed every foe they faced in this movie.

The Godzilla that ate the star could mean many things, does it mean when he ate the meteor that put him to sleep? Or could it be an entirely other Godzilla that actually ate a star becoming Space Godzilla and is the actual real baddie which gave Skar King those glowing eyes like he was being controlled himself? I'd imagine Space Godzilla would have insane psychic powers.
