We're planning on Crete for September or October 2026 for 2 weeks. We love traveling for food, so I'll keep watching for your next videos.

Hey guys, you are amazing. I've just found out your channel and i started following ya at once. It's good to know that there are people from other countries making up their minds to relocate and coming here. If you love travelling around at least in Greece, feel free to visit northern Greece in Thessaloniki and all of the other cities around it. You'll love it for sure.

Nice video! However, high 50's to low 60's Fahrenheit is a bit of a stretch. Right now at 20.55, 5 January, it's 51 F in Chania, and will get down to 48 later tonight. And this is a warm January.

I'm a new viewer and [now] subscriber to your channel and am enjoying your take on living in Crete in Chania. Crete is somewhere that has been on my radar for a while as a potential place to relocate to after living in South-Western Turkey for the last eight years. I am an Irish passport-holder, so the legalities of residence are not an issue, what with it being in the EU.
I'm interested to hear what made you choose Chania over Heraklion or elsewhere in Crete. I understand the desire to be in a city / town that is big enough to cater to a multitude of needs and wants, but what about Chania put it above all other locales in Crete?

We are considering spending October through March outside of the US. Can you help me understand what life is like in the winter/Off Season? We don't love crowds, so off-season works for us just fine. Just not sure if it would be worth it to spend these months in Crete and not get the benefits of the really nice months of shoulder- and peak-season. What about the wind during this time of year? Seems like that might be a problem as well. Thanks for making these videos, very helpful.
