I don't care much for this specific watch, but excited to see the Spirate in other Omega models in the coming years. Omega movements have to be some of the most advanced in the industry at this point!

I love the way Omega quietly innovates for a while and then 'Boom' a watch is launched. I like the design of and it's probably worth the price for what it is. Launching a single watch makes a lot of sense initially with updated movements. They can glean far more real world feedback than say a small preproduction run with in house testers. If needed small changes can be made and proven prior to updating other models in the range. Oris did the same with the cal400 originally launched in the Aquis 43.5 case followed some time later in other cases and models. I see Mr Bond was doing a sound check, if you woke him up it would be too loud. 🥃.

Yeah, agree…that movement is a game changer. Design wise, though, I prefer my old traditional moon watch. Now, if they’d drop that movement into the original moon watch… I’d stand in line to get one of those…

Great review! Love the design and the accuracy is insane. The size would be an issue for me and $11K US is out of my budget.

The way they constantly are pushing the technological boundaries is what makes them my favorite brand, but they do seem to be heading inexorably into price ranges that are out of my budget. If one can still get Omega at a discount which st the moment is still true, then that is fantastic

I think it looks fantastic Oleg. Like you said it’s the size and price that jar with me. Perhaps I may change my mind when I see it in the flesh but 44mm + 15mm thick is pretty nuts. As if the coaxial movement wasn’t enough, the spring technology on top is brilliant. One I can admire from afar because their is no way I could ever drop that sort of money on a watch.

My only concern is pricing -- The Speedmaster Pro sapphire is already $10, 000 CAD plus taxes. After the price increase from 1861 to 3861, I'd be worried a new Speedy Pro with this addition would probably jump the price another $1000-2000.

44/50mm is kinda big, but still ok for some people for larger wrist. Nice innovation btw. Now if they can shrink it down to 40-42mm...

Awesome video my friend.. Love this Speedmaster Super Racing.. A.K.A. (THE BUMBLEBEE ).. very unique and technical looking.. would've been better on a 42mm case, but just like Omega always does, they put their latest innovations on their least popular models like the Speedmaster Racing line to push sales up.. I could understand that.. and I imagine they will put this Spirate technology in their lineup and that's the perfect justification to raise the prices on their most popular models.. What can I say.. Omega is on the rise, Look out ROLEX!⌚️😃👍
