Roland TD-50X & drum-tec electronic drums live on tour with BEAUTIFUL MACHINES

Finally there's some video footage from the recent OMD support summer tour, that I had the pleasure to play with the kind folks of @BeautifulMachines 🤩🥁🎹🎸 This track is called "Control"

I was playing my drum-tec pro series electronic drumkit (actually the very first time I have used electronic drums on stage), paired with Roland e-cymbals and a TD-50X sound module. Great authentic feeling, superb triggering & not a single dropout/failure/malfunction whatsoever, what else can you possibly wish for in an electronic drumkit? 🥳

Really nice to see edrums used in a live gig. Been seeing this more often, now we have kits that have much better sounds and triggers.

Ralf is such a beast!! Quick question? my church has the td50x kit and currently I do not like the sound out the box at all through the PA. Which sound kit is it you are using in this video?

You released a video without me noticing! Is the bass drum an actual bass drum? I could see the resonate head moving so I'm guessing so but just curious anyway as I don't use electric kits at all. I'm guessing this is a hybrid?

Top wie immer Ralf! Hast du die Modul Sounds verwendet, und wenn ja, welche? Ich bin Live noch immer mit SD3 unterwegs. Hab es noch immer nicht geschafft, die Modul Sounds so gut hinzubekommen, wie ich es mir wünschen würde.

warum hast du dich fürs ekit live entschieden? und nicht fürs akustik set mit einem spd sx?
ich spiele kleine Gigs mit meinem drumtec kit, aber ich vermisse beim live spielen das Spielgefühl von echten Cymbals.
