The clip ends just when it’s getting interesting.
- The experiment’s atmosphere did not match what scientists now believe was the composition of primitive Earth’s atmosphere.
- The process that created amino acids also oxidized them. What remained was short-lived and diluted among the products of oxidation.
- The process produced a mixture of molecular geometries that would inhibit formation of proteins, and almost all proteins produced would be useless.
