But if you’ve actually watched them against City, Fulham, Brighton, Liverpool, Southampton, and Barnsley it’s clear that they look a lot more organized and compact this season. Not to mention they are playing a much more possession based game instead of playing back and forth basketball style matches. If you’re actually paying close attention, it’s clear to see United are evolving and controlling matches much more this season. The issue with the Liverpool match is Casemiro was exposed for not being composed enough on the ball. Hence why Ugarte was brought in to play more in a double pivot.

I hear the argument that the quality is so low that no team should be beat 9-2 in the champions league, but how can that be avoided when Zagreb actually were the champions of their league and deserved the be in the champions league and Bayern finished 3rd in their league. What change would make it more fair unless you basically just make the super league
